BOLDPhoto contest results announcedENDBOLD
Forsyth children and teens viewed life through the lens of their cameras by entering the Library’s photography contest, held in conjunction with the Summer Reading Program. Entries included scenery from as far away as the Grand Canyon and as close as a Forsyth back yard.

Winners chose prizes from an assortment of matted photographs and photo albums. Decatur photographer Christine Doolen visited the library twice to present workshops and also presented first-place winners with certificates entitling them to free portrait sittings at her studio. Each entrant also received a disposable camera to keep them snapping.

The Library staff would like to extend thanks to all the young people who submitted work for this contest and to Christine for her donation of time and professional services.
